Since graduating with her MPA in 2003, Michelle Prinz has been seeking her success through helping others. Michelle currently holds the position of executive director of the Parkwood YMCA in East Lansing, MI. Not only is she responsible for the branch staff but also in overseeing the almost 2 million dollar budget. In the past three years, Michelle was able to increase annual giving by $10,000 and grant dollars by $20,000. It is because of these accomplishments and her dedication to leadership in the community that Michelle was chosen Director of the Year in 2006.

Beyond her responsibilities as director, Michelle also participates as an active member of the Meridian Area Business Association and was a presidential nominee of the Williamston Sunrise Rotary Club. She also was honored with the American Heart Association Heartsaver Award in 2003. Michelle has been the director of the Parkwood YMCA for two years but has spent 12 years working in various capacities at different YMCA branches.
